Hello guys, It has been a long time since I have posted here, although I read many of the posts and enjoy the models. This is my completed KV-2, it was finished last October. It represents an almost new KV-2 having been engaged in only one sortie where it came out victorious and with a few PaK dings on the turret sides. I hope you enjoy the pictures and thank you very much for viewing
Hello, William! Welcome back! Splendid work! Very unusual layout for KV. In the sense that all looks strange and unusual, but great! I mean the location of the boxes and cans. Honestly, I first such execution saw. The only thing that is confusing is the antenna. I think it should look like this - link Or is it meant some German modification (although, I doubt)? Moreover, what do you mean tank-winner.

Hello Ilya Good to be seening you again ! I found some information on the radio. What it tells me is that the antenna was made of 4 sections, each about 1000 mm long. When I first understood this I thought it meant extendable like a car radio. Recently , upon further reading I find out the 4 sections actuall screw into each other abnd are stored inside the tank itsef. I think I should take down the picture, it is misleading. I will find my original reference and upload it. Be back in a few minutes, it is on another computer. ;-)

OK I think I found it. This is the schematic for the 71-TK-3 model 1939 radio used in the BT,KV and early T-34 series tanks. It shows on the left the segmented antenna which screws together rather than being segmented and being able to extend and collapse into itself. This is the link http://www.rkk-museum.ru/about/sitemap_e.shtml and here is the schematic :
William, curious scheme. I think everything is in its place. Thank you! The tools in the box - very cool!

Thank you guys ! Neo, nice to see you again man ;-) The tool boxes are Aber, the intake vent guards are Eduard, the mantlet cover is Lion Roar and the barrel also. The 20Litre fuel cans on the side are resin from a company called 'Bitzgreig' I found on e-bay. and the track are Fruilmodel. I really enjoyed building this model and showing it to my Russian friends.

Thank you Dmitry. Now beginning Trumpeter T-90 . About the wires..is not the location on the hull the ground post (minus) for the + leads of the headlight and horn ? If you look very close, one wire from the horn is broken ? I believe this is a + wire ?
