This model was constructed by famous Spanish Modeler Carlos de Diego Vaquerizo.
This is another commission that I finally got off the workbench. The issue with these German heavies that makes them so time consuming, other than their size, are all of the wheels and long sections of track. This is the 1/35th Tamiya kit.
I did learn a lot about late war German armor in general while researching photos and literature about this model. Studying the factory camo was a challenge but rewording once finished. I now realize why so many modelers enjoy these well documented subjects. I am glad that I have had the opportunity to finish one of these during my life. These are educational subjects that also make beautiful models once finished.
The MIG forum was hacked. It is being repaired now. I am sorry that I cannot tell you more. I have been depressed about this. Please just wait a bit.

Two months yes but it was also built for me. All I needed to do was paint it. It actually took me longer because the collector did not like the original finish and I had to start over. It took me two months to paint this finish.
